A week or so ago, I heard about an interesting item for a baby around Ella's age called a Bumbo. It's a soft plastic chair that they are able to sit in without the possibility of falling over. So far, it's been one of the best things we've bought. She's sitting in her Bumbo chair in this picture.
Ella went to her 4-month Well Child appt on Friday. All is well. Ella is up to 14 lbs., 9 oz., and 25" long. She got her shots as well and cried for them, but once we picked her up, all was well again. She does good with her reaction to her shots, she's just extra sleepy for a few days. The doctor also informed us that our little Ella has Acid Reflux, so she's starting to get cereal with every bottle and will still get regular cereal at night. And tonight, she had her first experience with other foods -- green beans were the food of choice by her daddy! She did fine, but I'll let Dad change that first diaper since she ate the beans, so he can know what to look forward to.
Daycare continues to go well for Ella and us. And my new job is going really well. I'm working on some marketing materials currently and am really getting into it. Other than that, all is status quo in our household.
