Ella & Duste

Ella has discovered recently that she has the ability to grab and pull on my things including arms, ears, hair, and even Duste's fur. Duste wasn't too spooked when Ella first tugged on her hair, but once Ella let go, Duste was on her way to another room (far away from Ella's reach)

Charles & I got some yard work done today and Ella sat outside in her Exersaucer. Due to the sunny weather, she needed to have a hat on and of course, I thought it was sooo cute. So here's little Ella Bella in her summertime hat.

Ella & Charles

I had to post this to the Blog. When I put Ella in this outfit yesterday, he said that it was the best outfit she has worn yet. For those who can't tell what is on the jumper, it's the Florida State Seminole logo. He's a proud daddy. More Seminole pictures to come in the future, when the next round of outfits begin to fit her.

Ella & The Birthday Boy

Ella's Great Grandpa, Donald Hohensee turned 85 years old today. Here is Ella posing with the birthday boy. Yes, that is her drool on her shirt, not Grandpa's. We've been saying this for the past 6 weeks, but we really think her teeth are coming soon. The drool volume has picked up significantly in the past few days.

My niece, Paige told Josh & Heather (her parents) that they couldn't take Ella home because she would slobber all over her toys.

Bad Mommy...

I know, I know. It has been too long since I last posted! Ella's Acid Reflux is getting better and her cough seems to be diminishing slowly. Charles and I have been happy with the progress.

She has learned to roll over her right shoulder now as well as her left from her back to her tummy, but has yet to figure out how to go from her tummy to her back. Oh well! Only time will tell how long it will take her to figure that out. She's also started to get up on her knees and rock a little bit.

Ella is also beginning to sit up by herself pretty well. She can be tipsy at times, but otherwise is doing really well. She can often be found playing with her newly discovered toes. She's been using her Bumbo chair quite a bit and is now partially turning around to grab various things around her. Tonight she was reaching for the coasters on the coffee table and a plastic bag that made fun crinkly noises.

We were home in Pocahontas and West Bend over the Easter holiday. Most of our family got to spend time with Ella and she was a very happy baby. Most people can't believe how happy she is really is, but she is! I think she gets that from her daddy who is always so happy & smiley.
