Sledding, for real

All ready to go sledding, for real. We received about 3.5" of snow over the weekend and since Charles and I didn't have to work yesterday, we took Ella sledding in the park behind our house. She had a lot of fun, but wasn't so excited about the cold temperatures. Duste sure liked them though and enjoyed eating her fill of snow.

Tired of asking for help

Ella is tired of asking (or should we say whining) for our help to get her toys out of the toy box. So she did the next best thing, climbed into it. She probably played in there for a good half hour to hour. Her and Daddy even played catch while she was in her toy box.

After the piggies

Ella's hair is getting to be long enough to put in little pig-tails. So daycare usually puts them in. Here is Ella after we took out her pony-tail that she had that day. Nice hair...

Chillin' with Daddy.

Here are Ella and Daddy sitting on the couch.

Pink Chair

Thank you Uncle Brian and Aunt Sarah for my wonderful Pink Recliner. Now everyone will have a place to sit when they come over!

Need some snow

Uncle Josh and Aunt Heather gave Ella a sled for Christmas this year. Josh had to personalize it with his racing name and number, hence the 68 and Hohensee. Since we have no snow, Josh thought that he would carry Ella round like an amusement park ride. Needless to say, she continued to get in the sled for the few days after she got it!

Yum, Ice Cream

Since my brother, Josh is a Schwan's man, Ella thought she'd better get in on the action. Here she is with Grandma Ellen eating her first ice cream bar. I'm sure it's just the first in many to come!

Christmas Ella

Here is Ella in her Christmas outfit from Grandma and Grandpa Anliker. How cute!

Big Bully

Here is Ella and our niece, Paige playing over the Christmas holiday. These two are like two peas in a pod.

Ella's New Ride

Boy, does Ella ever like her new ride! She points and smiles and her feet start to pitter-patter when she sees it. Amazing enough, she only needs to grow a few inches to touch the pedals. I'm sure it will see some action on the driveway this spring, summer and fall!

Cabbage Patch Doll

Ella got a cabbage patch doll from Santa this year. She isn't quite into dolls yet, but I am hopeful at some point she will be. The baby's name is Ayla and had red hair. How fitting!
