Updates to kids

We had lunch with my parents and my brother and family yesterday. Here are some pictures we took.

It's nice that Ella's hair is finally long enough to put in pig-tails and they not look like antennas or horns.

Project time

We redid part of a room in the basement. Some new drywall mud, painting and new lighting. Here is Ella helping Charles.

Dr. Anliker

Ella is getting all practiced up for her new career. The other day, she had the stethescope on and put it on Charles' chest and was looking at her "watch" on her wrist, which she doesn't have. Hopefully we have a doctor in the making like her Great Uncle Boyd!

Doggy sitting

We are doggy sitting my parents dog this week. Since she had knee surgery, she's not really putting her foot down much, so we're taking her to doggy rehab three days this week. She'll be working on a treadmill in the water to strength her leg. We LOVE having her here and Ella says Good Night and Good Bye to Nook.

Ella and the birthday boy - my dad. We went out for supper on Saturday evening. This was my drink x 2 as we tended to pass them around the table. Big Kahuna -- yum, rum!

Poor Nook

My parents' dog (actually my dog) blew out her knee a few weeks ago when she was out running in the country, so she had surgery the Friday before Christmas. Here she is all bandaged up. Her stitches have since come out and she is starting her "rehab". Starting to put her paw down again when walking. She's 1/2 Husky 1/2 Yellow Lab and a ball of energy and very needy of attention.

Went bowling

Over the holidays, we went bowling in Pocahontas with Josh, Heather, Cam & Paige and my parents. We all had so much fun. And Ella really enjoyed it too!
