Slowing down...

After a busy few days at the lake, we went back to my parents in Poky and relaxed. My parents had Logan & Kyla for a few days as Brian and Sarah were in Charlotte for the Nascar race.

My brother Josh got a new motorcycle a while back and Ella has been asking to go for a ride for a while now. The weather just hadn't cooperated until now.

Kyla was so good while we were there. Here's a couple of cute pics of her that I took. And then the three kids, Paige (5), Logan (4) and Ella (2).

Grandpa Roger had a big cardboard box at the shop that became their fort. Of course, Ella was being rough (like usual) and made Logan mad.

Memorial Day Weekend

My uncle David flew in from Florida on Thursday before Memorial Day weekend, so I picked him up at the airport. So we took him back to Pocahontas with us and then we headed to the lake for the weekend! It was a little cold and windy on Friday and Saturday, so we got the new picnic table together, transported sand into the new sand box, and fixed Grandpa's deck. Friday night, Ella even fell out of the top bunk (with bed rails)! She survived! At least on Sunday, we could have a little fun with our 'new to us' waverunner.

Charles grilled all weekend, so the food was great. Grandpa Anliker and PeeWee and Bob got a new pontoon this year, so we're already enjoying it, especially since Ella thinks she can drive!

On the farm

Charles and Ella went back to West Bend for his birthday and to take Penny to Pocahontas to get spayed. Since it's spring planting season, Ella had to go for a tractor ride - or two or three. And then swing on the swingset at the farm! Her hair is a little out of control!

Busy outdoors

We're already been busy outdoors. Our next door neighbor, Aaron, got a PowerWheels for his birthday, so Ella and he 'cruise' around the yards! They had an extra PowerWheels, so Ella got to drive one by herself - wow, was she ever happy!

Ella always likes drawing with sidewalk chalk - isn't she talented?

My goodness

My goodness, it has been a long time since I posted. Sorry!

The last weekend in April, we had lunch with Brian's family and my parents out at his house. Ella just loves her baby cousin Kyla. She doesn't look like Brian (or Logan) at all!

A recap - May 2-3 had Ella and I in Pocahontas for semi-annual garage sales. As always, we had a great time. Ella really likes riding the lawn mower with Grandpa (good thing it's the right color), and eating his ice cream. We saw Baby Gracie Lyons (Morgan Flaherty's baby) and Ella just had to hold her!
