Our little Bronco with Daddy's new hat

Charles & I went to a Broncos game two years ago and brought back a long sleeve t-shirt for Ella. She loved that shirt and wanted to wear it all the time. She has since outgrown it, so this yaer we brought her back a jersey instead and surprise, surprise - she loves it!
She also really liked Charles' new hat, so her she is sporting both!

Some pictures from the actual game. Broncos beat Tampa Bay 16-13. Great game - even when it was raining. Some of the wildlife we saw while we were in Denver was this fox at Invesco.

On Saturday, we headed into Boulder from my dad's college roommates place up in the moutains. Rio Grande was the place to be - great margaritas and steak nachos!

Weekend Getaway

Last Friday, Charles, my dad and I headed to Colorado for an extended weekend getaway including a visit to my dad's college roommate and a Denver Broncos game. Here are some highlights.

Charles and I's future home. It's For Sale right now and probably within a reasonable price range for us - the problem; the current owners are selling because they can't keep the road clean in the winter, it's drifts too much!

Ella recently found her paint with water book, so she really enjoyed painting three pictures last week before we left for Colorado.

Minor haircut

A few weeks ago, Charles and I were talking about haircuts. Ella informed us that she wanted to get her haircut and we told her it wasn't quite time. Anyway, the next day she came home with a little chunk of hair taped to a piece of paper saying, 'Ella cut her hair today.' Luckily, it's not obvious whatsoever and for a while, Charles and I couldn't even find where she cut it.
