Relaxing at it's best

Ella is really into soccer - not sure the origination of the facination. If it's Dora or what. At any rate, the movie, "Kicking and Screaming" was on this afternoon which is a soccer movie with Will Farrell and Robert DuVall - so here is Ella watching the movie.

In other news - part of Ella's scab has fallen off, but most of it is still attached. Charles made it home just fine from Oklahoma after a week of work and a minor sickness. On good note - it was in the 50s yesterday here in Des Moines, so we took down our Christmas lights. Back to the grind at work tomorrow.

Blah, blah

This week has been pretty useless around the house as I've been flying solo with Ella. Charles is in Oklahoma for work. It's funny because Ella is having a hard time figuring out if Daddy is in Oklahoma or Barack Obama - I know they sound very different to adults, but the 'ma' at the end must be throwing her for a loop or she's just playing with me! Oh well. Here's a few pictures ...

Here she is drinking her Freezoni from QT, a local conveinent store. After we dropped Charles off at the airport, she was pretty upset. So I offered to do for drinks and that seemed to cheer her up a little bit.

Hope you're all enjoying warmer temps. It was 47 degrees here in Des Moines today and temps continuing in the 40s and 50s through early next week. I'm sure we won't have any snow left ....
