Ella's Birthday Party

After the baptism, we had a soup lunch at our home and celebrated Ella's 4th birthday (a few weeks late). Ella's birthday was the weekend before Thanksgiving and then Thanksgiving, so we didn't want to have our family feel obligated to drive to us a couple of weekends in the same month, so we combined the two wonderful occasions. Our family lives approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours away from us, so it was important to consider them.

As always, Ella received many beautiful gifts and had lots of wonderful wishes for her. She picked out a beach birthday cake this year. As has been the tradition each year, we got her cake at Costco - a white cake with strawberry filling and white buttercream frosting. Yum!
