Major Winter Storm - Charles MIA

Following the baptism and Ella's birthday party, Charles traveled to Oklahoma for his job for a week. Luckily for me, my mom was able to come down and help us out. For those of you around Iowa who don't remember, this was the storm that dumped about 15" of snow on Des Moines - wowsers!

My mom came down Monday evening and stayed through Friday noon. Since we are still sending Ella to daycare 3 days a week, she helped transport her, so we could keep Lexi out of daycare, as I was a little anal about her getting H1N1 or even seasonal flu. Mission accomplished!

Tuesday we were busy Christmas shopping, Wednesday we were snowed in and Thursday, my brother came and dug us out - Thank the Lord!
